Do You Need to Find Purpose In Life?

Before beginning with finding the purpose, I want to paraphrase a quote I read recently, There are two ways in life, left and right, but either way, you go on, you will surely miss out on something. Just like the poem, The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost, one of the most misunderstood poems out there. When you walk the right way, you find nothing is left and when you take the left, nothing feels right.

Why Do We Need A Purpose in Life?

Have you ever thought of ordering a burger? Well, try it sometimes, it pretty exhausting nowadays. There are plenty of choices that make us overwhelmed but confused at the same time. Oh! that’s a cheese burger, no I would like to have a spicy cheese burger, well, actually I would go with a double-decker.

So, if selecting a snack can be so confusing why do you think life choices will be simple. There are lots of people who just try to accumulate different things, in the hope they will be needing in the future. This may be helpful sometimes but from my experiences by the time I needed them, they were so old that I had to buy a new one.

It happens with learning too. We think more we learn more we grow. But it’s not true. No one ever remembers everything they learn and legends say that incomplete knowledge is lethal. The only knowledge that makes us grow is the knowledge that is applied not invested. You need a purpose to be clear about what you should be focusing on in life. A good life is led with discipline, a free soul, the hippie approach will end with self-disappointment.

The manifestation of the subconscious won’t work when you try to accommodate everything on your plate, just try to have every snack on the menu at the same time and you will enjoy nothing at the end (to write this line I have to do so, most of the snack got cold, and combination of few didn’t work for my stomach).

When you try to take in a lot of things either through mouth or mind you suffer indigestion.

You need to be focused and narrow with your purpose. And that’s the reason why you need a purpose in the first place. So, its pretty simple, do the same thing again and again, your all heroes, idols are an expert of their own field, they are not the master of all. You have to practice the right thing to be good at it. Each time you go off track remember the purpose that you set for yourself. To accomplish that you just have to do what needed. Don’t go out there collecting out stuff, it’s heavy to move ahead in life already don’t make it tougher.

What Is the Misconception?

The misconception about the purpose is that the stories we grow with tell about the heavenly purpose that’s bestowed on us. Well, there is no such purpose, we have to create our own purpose and be disciplined about it. There will be times in life when you will feel that I should have taken up the other thing but it’s just your mind messing up with you. Do you remember the poem I mentioned at the beginning of the blog? The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. The poem is not about doing things that fewer people do, or follow your passion. It’s about regretting the things that you skipped on. But it doesn’t matter, which way you go, the regrets will follow and depart by the time but if the decision wasn’t yours then the regret will never leave.

Have a purpose and then let it form your ideology, and then make your own rules.

How do I Find One?

You don’t need anyone’s guidance. The decision has to be yours with no influence.

Everything seems impossible until you try it.

The purpose is not something to hunt down. It naturally comes up to you. Well, avengers fan, do you remember the moment in Endgame when Tony Stark snapped his fingers. He lived his whole life looking for purpose. Destiny has plans for everyone. Never leave it up to destiny. You have to start working now, choose your way, and the purpose will arrive in your life. Everything that he went through in his life was just for that one moment. When you are ready to know, you will know it for sure!

Go ahead and make the first move! and at some point, you will get THE UNEXPECTED BOOST that will make everything happen in a way so marvelous that you could never imagine.
